Read the Act

The Personal Information Protection Act received Royal Assent on December 4, 2003.

In the event of a discrepancy between the electronic version of the Act or Regulations and the paper version of the Act or Regulations available through the Queen's Printer, the paper version is considered to be the authoritative reference.

The Queen’s Printer of Alberta is the official source for Alberta Legislation. The Personal Information Protection Act P-6.5 and Regulation 366/2003 are kept up to date on the Queen’s Printer Site.
