Guidelines for an Advance Ruling Under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)

The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner has developed the attached guidelines for an advance ruling under section 36(3) of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). These guidelines are an administrative tool only and are intended to assist organizations in requesting an advance ruling.
