Orders & Investigation Reports

Section 69(1) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and section 77(1) of the Health Information Act require the Information and Privacy Commissioner to conduct an Inquiry if a matter cannot be settled through mediation or investigation. Section 72(1) of the FOIP Act and section 80(1) of the HIA then requires the Commissioner to dispose of inquiry issues by making a formal order.
